Yanet Dai is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with specialized experience in working with children and adolescents between the ages of 5 and 17. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Yanet provides compassionate, culturally competent mental health care to diverse families across communities.
Yanet is deeply committed to supporting young individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma, and behavioral concerns. Her approach is patient-centered and developmentally informed, integrating evidence-based psychiatric assessment, medication management, and collaborative care with families, schools, and therapists.
With a strong background in nursing and psychiatric care, Yanet believes in creating safe, trusting spaces where children and teens feel heard, understood, and empowered. Her bilingual capabilities allow her to connect authentically with both English and Spanish speaking families, helping to bridge gaps in access and communication in mental health care.
Outside of clinical practice, Yanet advocates for early intervention and improved mental health resources in underserved communities. Her work is grounded in the belief that every young person deserves access to the tools and support needed to thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
